Who are we? What is our purpose?
The Scarlet Woman Red Tent is a traveling Red Tent open to all women AND those that identify and live as women. We are part of a Red Tent movement across the world who’s purpose is to cultivate, nurture, harmonize, and celebrate the divine feminine and the relationships between women, sisters, daughters, granddaughters, grandmothers, mothers, aunts, nieces, and all the many faces and roles that we become in our daily lives. The Scarlet Woman Red Tent welcomes all women regardless of spirituality, race, or age (those that have reached or would be at the age of their moon cycle, ie. puberty, menstruation). We welcome women who have not had a menstrual cycle (Amenorrhea) including trans women, women with Turner syndrome, those with infertility, thyroid disorders, etc. We do not exclude you. The feminine divine IS within you. We recognize your individuality and your unique path to becoming a woman, being a woman, and embodying the feminine divine. Our unique paths come together inhabiting this universe. Presenting and working with the energy of the feminine divine on our paths is exactly what a Red Tent is about.
We are here to heal, comfort, build up, build upon, teach, support, and unite. In these times and culture, I don’t have to tell you how hard being women can actually get or how hard coming up as a young lady into womanhood is. Our youth should know what sisterhood truly means and that they can count on other women to offer guidance, support, and understanding. In addition, views of women in our society are old Aeon; women are seen as weak, or serve as only mothers and wives. The working woman, the independent woman, the strong woman, and the childless woman are commonly frowned upon. What we can do is set the example that all women are honored and celebrated, all women are Goddesses, all women are beautiful and divine, and the female body is holy, sacred, and her Energy is POWERFUL. There are many mysteries to the feminine divine and in the Red Tent this is what we will explore. We use the many faces of the Divine Goddess in our sacred space, each time setting an altar and honoring her presence in our daily lives.
When do we celebrate and honor?
The traditional time to meet in the Red Tent is during the New Moon phase. This is a time of renewal growth, a mini rebirth.
What to expect?
Expect to make new friends with loving, nurturing, divine women. Each experience is unique. It is unique in theme (which chosen goddess we will see in the Red Tent and what she will reveal for each woman). What do women do when they get together? We teach, we laugh, we cry, we share, we nurture, we support, etc. Some women come to heal, some come to learn, some come to give comfort for others. Each woman contributes to the Red Tent in her own special way.
Who comes to the Red Tent?

This includes women who have not had a menstrual cycle (Amenorrhea) including trans women, women with Turner syndrome, those with infertility, thyroid disorders, etc. We all share commonality, womanhood. We are building a unit of women who are the many roles for our loved ones on a daily basis, who come to the Red Tent to share this journey with other women.
